Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use furnifix.ca or book furniture assembly with Furnifix Canada Ltd. ("Furnifix", "we", "us"). By using the website or requesting a quote, you agree to them.

1. Our service

Furnifix assembles furniture for homes (residential) and commercial buildings. Assembly means putting together furniture you have already bought, following the manufacturer's instructions where they exist.

2. Quotes and bookings

• Submitting the booking form is a request for a quote. It is not a confirmed booking.
• A booking is confirmed only when we confirm the date, time and price with you.
• Quotes are based on the details you give us, such as the items, their number and the location. If those details turn out to be different, we will tell you and agree any change with you before we continue.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate contact details, address and description of the work.
• Make sure the furniture and all of its parts and hardware are on site and the work area is clear and safe.
• Make sure we can get into the building at the agreed time. For commercial buildings, tell us about any access, parking or scheduling rules ahead of time.

4. Pricing and payment

The price and payment terms are set out in your quote. Please read it before you accept it.

5. Rescheduling and cancelling

Please tell us as early as you can if you need to change or cancel an appointment. Any cancellation or late-change fee will be stated in your quote.

6. Our work

• We aim to assemble every piece properly and leave the space tidy.
• We are not responsible for furniture that is faulty, damaged or missing parts when it arrives, or for damage that was there before we started.
• Some furniture should be fixed to a wall for safety. We will tell you when we think it should be, and we can do it with your permission.

7. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Furnifix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

8. Using this website

Please use the website only for its intended purpose. The text, photos and branding on it belong to Furnifix or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province where Furnifix Canada Ltd. is based and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
